Sloane Developments’s principles and working methods are underpinned by a number of benchmarks and working standards that are summarised below.
We operate under adherence to the standards and ethics of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Chartered Surveyors, Engineers, Chartered Institute of Builders and Association of Project Managers. Projects are conceived by our in-house, RIBA registered chartered practice. All architectural work is also based upon principles espoused in RIBA forms of appointment and in their guidance for working methods.
We are committed to technical excellence, superior practice standards and codes of practice.
We also employ the codes from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. Beyond and along side this we are working to (where applicable) the Code for Sustainable Homes developed in the UK. This sets out mandatory performance levels in seven key areas (energy and CO2 emissions, water, materials, surface water run-off, waste, pollution, health and wellbeing, management and ecology).
BS/ISO Standards [ISO 9001/14001]
We adhere to the British Standards codes for building and construction for materials, disability access, health and safety and primarily in terms of the architectural/structural design codes. Sloane Developments development projects adhere to stringent International Federation of Consulting Engineers guidelines. The diagram below illustrates our primary business activities, support services, and subsequent accreditations, it also lays testament to the fact when hard work, knowledge and expertise are applied during the land procurement, design & architecture, and construction stages the sales & marketing, re-sales and after sales care standards are easier to achieve, resulting in higher returns for our clients.
